BTS Summer Tour!

By Anytickets.com Staff | May 25th, 2018

Love Yourself is out and now the six Bangtan Boys are embarking on a world tour. So far, BTS tickets have only been announced for 22 concert dates, but fans should expect more (their last world tour had 40 shows).

The North American leg of the tour will run from September 5 to October 3 and will hit touch down in California with shows in Los Angeles and Oakland before moving to Fort Worth, Texas; Hamilton, Ontario; Newark, New Jersey; and Chicago before crossing the Atlantic to play Europe.

Fleetwood Mac

By Anytickets.com Staff | May 24th, 2018

Would it really be a Fleetwood Mac tour without some pre-concert drama? Of course not! This time it was Lindsey Buckingham’s turn to leave (he was fired from the group on April 9).

Buckingham will be replaced by Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fame and Neil Finn form Crowded House. These two guitarists will join Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie as they traipse through 50-cities from October 3, 2018 to April 5, 2019.

This may not be the original lineup, but it is still Fleetwood Mac and this group has managed to thrive live with much more drama. So Fleetwood Mac tickets will still be well worth the cost.

Not Dead Yet: Phil Collin’s has Fallen but He Got Up

By Anytickets.com Staff | May 23rd, 2018

Last year Phil Collins slipped and fell in a hotel room in the midst of a five-night residence at the Royal Albert Hall in London. He finished the residency, but had to reschedule his European tour.

That incident, however, is not the inspiration for his 2018 North American tour, the Not Dead Yet tour. Rather, the name comes from his memoir, which takes a self-effacing and painfully honest look at his life. If anything, the name is just life imitating art in 15 glorious shows this October.

This will be his first tour on this side of the Atlantic in more than a decade, so his fans hope he avoids any more injuries. Otherwise they will have to wait for those concert dates to be rescheduled to make use of their Phil Collins tickets.

Post Malone: Rockstars and Their Bentleys

By Anytickets.com Staff | May 21st, 2018

Post Malone’s sophomore album definitely has the Internet to thank for its truly incredible success. It claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 after more than 430 million streams in the United States and those streams landed an unbelievable 14 of 18 tracks landing in the top 40 on the Hot 100.

Streams and charts mean very little if an artist does not back it up with life performances though, and this artist gets it. He is currently on the Beerbongs & Bentley’s Tour. The tour has a couple music festival dates, but mostly includes standalone shows.

The North American tour began on started April 26 and will run through August 5, and most Post Malone tickets will include rapper 21 Savage, with whom he recorded the chart-topping “Rockstar.”

The Marvelous NBA Playoff Cinematic Universe

By Anytickets.com Staff | May 19th, 2018

The Western Conference Finals (the unofficial NBA Finals) has been an incredible, almost cinematic experience so far.

Act I saw both teams come out with dominating performances, splitting the first two games. The Warriors’ Hampton 5 awoke from their regular season slumber in Game 1, winning 119-106. The Rockets followed this with an iso-riffic rally in Game 2 and won 127-105.

What does Act II hold? Hopefully, these teams can fit in some close games, and, if the league and NBA junkies are lucky, a few overtimes. In fact, this should be expected. Golden State and Houston are too good to simply exchange blowouts. The teams are known for their incredibly efficient offenses, but they both play excellent defense.

Houston Rockets v Golden State Warriors

Additionally, each team has its own compelling storyline. The Warriors have to hope Steph Curry gets back in game shape soon. As entertaining as it is to see Chris Paul break his ankles, the series would be more entertaining if Steph was playing at 90 percent at the very least.

The First Steps to Another 100 Wins and World Series

By Anytickets.com Staff | April 15th, 2018

The season has just started, but the Houston Astros appear to be on pace to repeat
as a 100-plus win ball club and, potentially, become the first team since the late-90s
Yankees to repeat as World Series champions.

In order to post triple digit wins, Houston is going to have to win nearly two-thirds
of its game and the Astros have started the season doing just that.
This is hardly a torrid start, but it is far from a flat start and, unlike those clubs that
have come out of the gates winning more than 80 percent of their games, this win
rate looks sustainable. Remember, baseball is a 162-game slog, not a sprint along a
mile and a quarter track.

Picking a World Cup Team

By Anytickets.com Staff | April 13th, 2018

Picking a World Cup Team

Let’s talk about Russia. Now, this is not a discussion with geopolitical implications. This is much more important. It is about which team to root for during the World Cup.

As we all know – or we all should know – the United States failed to qualify to compete at the 2018 World Cup. However, this does not mean people chose to forego World Cup tickets, or that they will not be watching on television.

So, come June 14, when the round robin begins within the groups, you better have your adopted country ready.

World Cup

How to Choose?

Option 1: Your Genetic Makeup

This is by far the easiest option. You do not need to consult ancestry.com. Rather, just pick a country you have been told your ancestors came from. It does not take much thought and you can bond with your new-found family of soccer fans when sitting in the stands or huddled in that one bar playing games in the morning before lunch.

Option 2: Your Favorite Player

Tis the Houston Concert Season

By Anytickets.com Staff | April 13th, 2018

Tis the Houston Concert Season

Houston is going to enjoy quite an eclectic concert season the second half of 2018. The headliners of the headliners include genre-bending superstar Taylor Swift, the brilliant Kenny Chesney, and ageless rock gods the Foo Fighters.

Of course, those three concerts are just the tip of the iceberg. The artist queue is long and has something for anyone who has ever turned on a radio (err, or listened to Pandora).

The Icon Class

H-Town is going to get a chance to relive its youth with this group of shows.

Those who feel music was best in the 70s and 80s need to get ready for the Eagles (June 15) and Electric Light Orchestra (August 10).
Old school metal heads get their day with Judas Priest (April 29)
Slightly younger metal heads need to see Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson (August 18).
Gen Xers can get emotional with the Smashing Pumpkins, minus bassist D’Arcy (July 17).

The Up and Comers

The One Direction alumni group will be coming through separately.

The Unpredictable Case of the NHL Playoffs

By Anytickets.com Staff | April 11th, 2018

The 2018 NHL playoffs kick off this week and there is no clear consensus as to who will win it all. While this may annoy fans of the two top seeds, the Tampa Bay Lightening and the Nashville Predators, it should come as no surprise.

The difference between the number one seed and the number eight seed is a mere 10 wins in both conferences. That is insane. This gives fans of just about any hockey team hope that their playoff tickets could be tickets to watch the Stanley Cup champions.

Still don’t believe this postseason is completely up for grabs? Just take a look at the Eastern Conference matchup between the top seed, the Lightening, and the eighth seed, the Devils. New Jersey took the season series three games to none.

The Western Conference seems a little more straightforward, with a balanced Nashville Predators team featuring a dangerous second line that can both score and defend. However, one could easily look to the San Jose Sharks, the number five seed, to make a run given their 6-1-1 against the superior seeded Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings.

Houston Rockets: Truth and Consequences

By Anytickets.com Staff | April 10th, 2018

Last year, after the San Antonio Spurs eliminated them in the conference semifinals, Forbes had the Houston Rockets listed at 30-1 odds to win the 2017-2018 NBA championship. Thirteen days later, the Rockets traded Lou Williams (an instant scorer off the bench), a future first round draft pick and spare parts to the Los Angeles Clippers for Chris Paul.

The move was definitely risky. James Harden had somehow become even more ball-dominate after embracing Coach Mike D’Antoni’s challenge to take over at point. What would happen with the addition of Paul, a player who controlled the basketball his entire career?

Ten months later, Houston is going to finish the regular season with the best record in basketball and Harden is the favorite to win MVP. Paul adjusted effortlessly; ceding some of the control that previously defined his game, all while putting up numbers equal to his career averages.

Still, the Rockets have their doubters. A quick survey of the Las Vegas makers shows that the Golden State Warriors are the favorites.
